You need to know that the company you choose to help you transform your home and its relationship with your garden is in tune with your ideas and needs, so we offer a free initial consultation to understand your existing home, what you are trying to achieve, your ideas and your budget. From this we will provide notes identifying challenges and opportunities, as well as budget guidance.
We survey and prepare plans, elevations and model in 3D. Working in 3D enables clients to visualise the potential of a new design much more clearly than working purely off 2D plans. We don’t aim to be photo realistic, but we do aim to provide a good likeness that will enable you to see yourself in that space.
We can advise on whether our architectural designs will require planning permission or whether they qualify for permitted development. If planning permission is required, we can undertake this on your behalf, and obtain certificates of lawful development where appropriate.
We work through the technical design, engaging structural engineers as needed, to ensure that the details have been thought through and it is clear how the property will be built, and how that will meet the latest build regulations. These then being submitted to building control in advance for approval and then as construction progresses we liaise with building control to ensure the execution is fully compliant.
